Obituary

Evan Zibell, 37, of Wauconda, Illinois, went to be with Jesus on April 11th, 2026. Born on February 8th, 1989, Evan was one of three triplet boys born into a family who loved him.

For the last 9 years, Evan proudly served as a Firefighter and Paramedic for the Schaumburg Fire Department. There, he found a family he cherished. Before that, he received his BA with highest honors in Biblical Language from Moody Bible Institute. Evan spent his days pouring into his wife and children in efforts to be the best father and husband he could be.

Evan is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth; his loved sons, Samuel and Ashton; his loving parents, Robin and Walt; his siblings, Alicia, Amber, Walter, and Adam; and his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Oliver, Isla, Montana, and Beckham.

Evan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and anyone else who was lucky enough to know him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to The Yard Foundation.
